In order to truly fulfill the Great Commission, new churches must be planted in every people group throughout the world. A study of church planting in diverse cultural settings, and the nurturing and developing of new churches in contemporary culture is the focus of this course, along with an evaluation of the modern church growth movement. The appropriate strategies that cause those churches to grow, flourish, and reproduce will be examined. The indigenous churches planted and their growth is essential principles of the “Three Self Movement” which was modeled in the Korean context.
